I've spent this week in CATIA training. The material is interesting, just the right level of challenge to keep things interesting, but not so frustrating that I want to give up. My only complaint about the training is the instructor, brief summary of his issues:
--He smells so bad that if I ask a question that is too involved I cant get an answer because I cant hold my breath long enough
--He was hired last Thursday to teach a class that started on Monday and hasn't reviewed the material in advance
--He is so passive that he comes off as sarcastically aggressive, ie "go ahead and answer your phone, I am expecting a call also"
One thing I can say for training is that it has lead to short work days, I could get used to this kind of free time.

...Off to Toyota
Last Friday was my last day in the GM group, which means my ICT activity has officially begun. I spent almost 4 years in the GM group, I'll miss it, mostly I'll miss the way it felt to be in the group before the mass hiring of new engineers. In honor of my last day I brought in cookies for the team. I received "Martha Stewart's Cookies" cookbook for Easter and wanted to try out a recipe without the opportunity to eat all the cookies on my own. I ended up bring in Applesauce Oatmeal (Healthy) and Chocolate Peanut Butter No Bake (unhealthy), neither me my standard of deliciousness, but in my experience anything tastes when it's set out around the office.
