Since I keep hearing about, but missing the bargain shopping and great deals brought on by the economic recession at home I decided to give Japanese Outlet Mall Shopping a try. Jazz Dream in Nagashima, the outlet mall that I headed, to is a mix of designer stores and restaurants, more high end stuff than I am accustomed to at an outlet mall in Michigan.
My hope was that since I don’t have a Japanese body type there would be plenty of clothes in my size at great deals since few people here would be large enough to fit that size. Unfortunately, I was wrong I found mostly size 0 and 2 clothes with an occasional 4 (for comparison the average US size is 14), maybe companies are shipping all their small sizes to the Japanese outlet mall? I did end up buying a Birthday gift for M at The Body Shop.
The highlight was eating some noodles in one of the food courts while watching the roller coaster at the amusement park that is included in the ‘resort.’
