Early last week when the weather was in the 90s I decided I didn't want to wait any longer to start enjoying the newly finished basement (which stays nice and cool). Before this realization I had been researching a trip to North Carolina to buy furniture, but I ultimately gave up on that and decided to go with an IKEA Karlstand which required no waiting and a good price. I don't love the legs, but I might try something like this to make them less noticeable.
Mike and I barely got this thing assembled before I had to leave for Japan, but this is how the room looked when I left.
